Flax seeds - scientific name “ Linum Usitatissimum”- regular name -”Linseed”. Flax is one of the member of Genus Linum from a family called Linaceace. They contain a great amount of magnesium and dietary fiber which gives tremendous benefits to beauty and body.For body, we all know it is best to consume in winter as it includes endless protein, vitamins and various minerals which gives protection against diabetes, cholesterol and cardiovascular problems but when we come to beauty, the first question comes to mind is “how?”. The answer to the question is that they are loaded with vitamin E and omega 3 fatty acids which is the best solution to hair problems like dandruff, thin hair, split ends, dry scalp and dull hair and become the best home remedy for hair problems . How to use Flax Seeds for Hair
Flax Seeds Oil:
The normal and easy way to use flax seed for hair is flax seed oil by simply massage oil on your hair scalp for about 10-15 minutes and rinse with shampoo as normal after an hour or can stay overnight whichever is comfortable and gives you shiny and silky hair.
Flax Seeds Gel:
2 tablespoons of raw flax seeds
One cup water
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Half spoon olive oil
How to make: boil one cup of water in a pan. Put it in medium flame once it gets boiled. Stir 2 tablespoons of flax seeds in it for about 3-5 minutes, soak gel with cotton cloth immediately after remove from flame as it gets sticky and impossible to get gel away from flax seeds. Once your gel is ready, mix all remaining ingredients to the gel and stir well. Apply this from roots to ends , after 1 hour of stay rinse with shampoo as normal. Do this at least once a week. This would give your hair a new texture and you are going to love your hair.
